Ms. Trupti Hattangady, Assistant Executive Director, TWA, proudly accepted the award on behalf of the school during the ceremony, marking a significant milestone in TWA's journey toward excellence in global education. Trio World Academy was honoured for its enriching global learning environment, designed to provide students with the skills and experiences necessary to thrive in any cultural context. The school's dedication to promoting cultural sensitisation, international understanding, and adaptability is reflected in its wide range of initiatives aimed at fostering cross-cultural friendships and collaborations. Key highlights of Trio World Academy's international collaboration efforts include: - Cultural Exchange Programs facilitating student exchanges and collaborations with schools worldwide to build mutual understanding and cultural awareness. - International Events and Multicultural Festivals that celebrate global cultures, allowing students to immerse themselves in diverse traditions and practices. - Curating a library that serves as a hub for global literacy, featuring books in multiple languages, including French, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Spanish. A notable initiative of TWA is the hosting of The Japanese Supplementary School (JSS), an effort led by the Japanese Consulate in Bengaluru. This program supports the Japanese community in Bengaluru by providing Saturday classes for children in Grades 1 to 9, helping them maintain a connection to their cultural roots. Trio World Academy has also forged collaborations with various international schools, including a partnership with HELP International School in Selangor, Malaysia, where students worked on an innovative STEM project to build a solar-powered competitive racing kart. Additionally, TWA students participated in UNESCO's Mobile Learning Week in Paris, engaging in discussions on "Skills for a Connected World." Further, the school has engaged in collaborative projects with the International School of Dublin, Ireland, and participated in study excursions to Singapore and France to broaden students' global perspectives. In its commitment to international collaboration, TWA's Head of School has also visited Sakai High School and Nara Ichijo School in Japan, with the goal of strengthening cultural ties and enhancing educational experiences.
