The CDMA Business Model Academy Launches Back-to-School Supplies Initiative to Support HBCU Students

The CDMA Business Model Academy proudly launches a Back-to-School Supplies Initiative, supporting HBCU students from the DMV and New York. This initiative celebrates apprentices from summer youth programs in New York, Maryland, D.C., and Virginia.
 
WASHINGTON - Sept. 9, 2024 - PRLog -- The CDMA Business Model Academy is proud to announce the launch of its Back-to-School Supplies Initiative, a community-driven effort designed to support students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the DMV (Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia) who are from New York and the District of Columbia. The initiative is part of CDMA's commitment to fostering educational success and celebrating the efforts of apprentices who have excelled in summer youth employment programs. The Back-to-School Supplies Initiative will provide students with essential school supplies based on their individual career goals and academic needs. Supplies will be sourced from vendors of the students' choice, ensuring that each participant is equipped with the tools necessary to excel in their field of study.

Who is Eligible?

The Back-to-School Supplies Initiative is open to:
  • Students enrolled at an HBCU who reside in the DMV or New York areas.
  • CDMA Business Model Academy alumni, current apprentices, and members of the CDMA Business Model Foundation Alliance Network.
  • Students who completed a semester of college and are actively pursuing a degree.

No personal statement is required, and the application is simple, allowing students to focus on their academic preparation.

The CDMA Business Model Academy is a leader in workforce development and career and technical education (CTE). Through innovative programs, such as the Audio Video Production Pathway, CDMA Business Model Academy equips students with the skills needed to thrive in the digital economy. The Academy works closely with industry leaders and educational institutions, including HBCUs, to bridge the gap between education and career opportunities.
