Patient being treated at Insight MSK The clinic, trading since 2007 in Brixton, South London, moved its primary location earlier this year from Brixton's Pavilion Pharmacy, to share a location with Pilates studio Body Alliance on nearby Atlantic Road. The new clinic is located in The French Pharmacy in New Cavendish Road, just a few minutes walk from London's prestigious Harley Street, traditionally home to the capital's leading doctors. Insight MSK offer a range of ultrasound-guided cortisone injection treatments including diagnostic ultrasound, cortisone injections, hyaluronic acid injections, Arthrosamid, hydrodistension and dry needling. Home visits are also available. Cortisone injection treatments are used to relieve pain and improve movement of joints which have been severely impaired through injury or disease. Although cortisone injections offer no direct therapeutic benefit, they can give the body long enough relief from a condition to be able to heal itself. They are frequently combined with a physiotherapy or exercise programme to make the most of the respite in pain and set the body on a course of recovery. Clinic owner Maxence Legout has over 15 years experience helping people with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. He has worked in France, Belgium and Switzerland. As well as being established in private practice he is also a senior NHS clinician, a role in which he carries out over 2000 ultrasound-guided injections each year.
