Maryland CASA Announces Deputy Secretary Susan Inman as Keynote Speaker for 17th Annual

Deputy Secretary Susan Inman, Governor's Office for Children to Speak at Maryland CASA's 17th Annual Conference
 
TOWSON, Md. - Sept. 11, 2024 - PRLog -- TOWSON, MD - The Maryland CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Association is proud to announce Deputy Secretary Susan Inman of the Governor's Office for Children as the Day 2 keynote speaker for its 17th Annual Conference. The event will be held at Salisbury University's Guerrieri Academic Commons on September 19-20, 2024.

Deputy Secretary Inman, appointed to her current role in May 2024, will share insights on the initiatives and priorities of the Governor's Office for Children. Her presentation will engage the audience in a collaborative discussion on effecting positive change for Maryland's youth.

The Governor's Office for Children serves as a central coordinating office to support the well-being of children and families and reduce the number of children living in poverty, using a whole-of-government approach. Prior to joining the Governor's Office for Children, Deputy Secretary Inman held a number of advocacy and policy-related roles, including at the U.S. Department of Education and the Office of the Vice President.
