NORWELL, Mass. - Oct. 4, 2024 - PRLog -- Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, has expanded their unique Return to Sports Program to all of their clinics across the South Shore.

The Return to Sports Program evaluates athletes and designs a sport specific program to make sure the athlete is truly ready to return to the sport they play. They are in communication with athletes' parents, doctors, athletic trainers and coaches to make sure everyone is on the same page in the recovery process. The program takes athletes out of the clinic office setting to turf and hard courts to provide rehabilitation that is specific to the sport that the athlete plays.

The Peak clinics in Hanover, Pembroke, Braintree and East Bridgewater all have turf fields to provide athletes with additional training beyond the initial rehabilitation. Each Peak clinic will have a Sports Rehabilitation specialist to treat and educate athletes and their families.

"Return to Sports is expanding because athletes are confident that beyond healing their injury they are ready to go back on the field or the court and resume their high level of participation. said Eric Edelman, PT and owner of Peak Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. "Rehabilitating on a turf field is a very difference experience than in an office setting and we are pleased with the positive outcomes achieved through this program."
