ITECH IT6600 Bidirectional DC Power Supply Takes the Spotlight at Battery Show North America 2024

DETROIT - Oct. 9, 2024 - PRLog -- ITECH Electronics, a trusted global symbol of innovation in power electronics testing instruments and solutions, is presenting its latest power testing instruments at The Battery Show North America, Oct.7-10, in Detroit.

On the first day of the exhibition, ITECH Electronics' booth (No. 5633) attracted a large number of professionals from various sectors. The atmosphere is lively as engineers, technical experts, and industry leaders gathered to engage in in-depth discussions with the ITECH team. As a newly launched ultra-high power density bidirectional DC power supply, IT6600C captivated a significant following visitors by its output up to 42kW at most in a 3U height unit with dual channel, saving customers' space, making it possible of a bench top solution for a high-performance and high-power test. bidirectional design, adjustable output impedance, and dual channels allow it to simulate the charging and discharging characteristics of the battery at the same time, enabling the setting and data processing of various test conditions. It is suitable for charge/discharge testing of various types of batteries. IT6600C can be equipped with software to form the ITS5300 battery charge and discharge test system. In addition to BOL test, it can also simulate complex real conditions, such as driving conditions, current pulses or customized waveforms, to meet the evaluation of battery life, energy and recharge mileage. It can be widely used in product development, quality analysis/incoming material inspection, production and testing, etc.

IT6600C can also be used as a battery simulator. It has fast battery emulation function. On the 5-inch touch screen, you can select either the "Mode: User-defined" or the "Mode: curve" to set the battery's voltage, capacity, IR and SOC, easily define the battery model, and carry on battery charge/discharge simulation. Customer can also choose ITECH BSS2000 battery simulation software. Use the built-in battery types to configure series and parallel parameters to simulate the characteristic curves of battery modules. The software supports importing matlab battery models or importing actual battery charge and discharge curves through .csv files to verify the battery in actual applications.

Apart from the IT6600C, ITECH also showcased other AC/DC power supplies and electronic loads, solar array simulator and battery simulator etc, such as newly upgraded IT7900EP Grid Simulator AC power supply, power output up to 21kVA in 3U single unit and can be extended to 1MVA after master-slave parallel connection; IT2700 Multi-channel Modular Power System, 1U single unit outputs up to 8 channels; IT2800 Graphical Source Measure Unit, combing the capabilities of six devices in one; and another explosive product- pretty compact IT-M series (https://www.itechate.com/en/product/dc-power-supply/IT-M3...) will meet you onsite as well.
