One of the highlights of this year was the cook-off competition, where National Curry Week assembled some of the best chefs in the UK for an exciting and charitable culinary challenge. The event featured 5 talented chefs, who were tasked with an ambitious goal: to cook 400 curries in just 100 minutes! All 400 curries cooked during the competition were donated to St. Luke's Community Centre in Islington, providing much-needed meals to people in need. Renowned chefs such as Chef Ashwani Kumar and Chef Vikas Soni from Mango Lounge, in Windsor: Chef Ashok Kumar, head chef at Michelin-star restaurant Kanishka by Atul Kochhar, together with Chef Praveen and lastly Chef Binod Baral, brought their expertise and passion to this cook-off.
