Colony Ridge Celebrates Groundbreaking Ceremony for Northwest AnnexBy: Colony Ridge The Northwest Annex will house key county offices, including the Liberty County Sheriff's Office, Pct. 6 Constable's Office, and the Permits Department. This facility will not only improve access to essential services for residents but will also play a critical role in public safety for the community. In an interview with Colony Ridge, Liberty County Pct. 6 Constable Zack Harkness highlighted that the new Northwest Annex will significantly improve law enforcement response times in Colony Ridge. This improvement will allow for quicker emergency assistance, enhancing overall safety for residents. The annex will also make it more convenient for community members to file police reports and access other services without the need for long-distance travel. This development follows other public safety improvements in the region, including Fire Station 872, located at 1678 CR 5100, Cleveland, TX 77327, which opened last year. The Northwest Annex represents the next step in ensuring that the community has immediate access to critical services as it continues to grow, reflecting Colony Ridge's ongoing dedication to supporting Liberty County's development. Construction on the Northwest Annex began on October 7, 2024, and, if all goes as planned, the facility is expected to open by mid-2025. Once completed, the annex will provide convenient access to essential services for all residents, further enhancing the community's growth and public safety.
