EAST ORANGE, N.J. - Oct. 18, 2024 - PRLog -- The City of East Orange, in collaboration with Mayor Ted Green, the East Orange City Council, and the Department of Policy, Planning, & Development, continues its efforts to empower local entrepreneurs with the third session of the professional development workshop series, "Building Customer Loyalty: Keys to Repeat Business.""

Created and led by Anna D. Banks, Founder and Managing Director of Thrive Leadership Institute, Inc., this nine-part series is all about helping East Orange small business owners enhance their entrepreneurial skills and navigate the Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) certification process.

Session three focused on one thing every business needs—loyal customers! Anna shared valuable tips on how businesses can build trust, keep things consistent, and deliver exceptional service to turn first-time customers into loyal fans. Participants got to case studies of businesses that are excelling in customer retention, sparking ideas for how they can create their own customer loyalty programs.

"We know that small businesses thrive when they build strong, loyal customer relationships," said Anna D. Banks. "This session was all about helping local businesses not only attract customers but keep them coming back!"

Sponsored by the Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) program, this workshop series aims to help businesses in East Orange make the most of the financial perks available through UEZ certification, such as tax incentives and reduced sales tax rates. It's a hands-on experience that gives entrepreneurs the guidance and tools they need to grow and succeed.
