Taiwan Tourism Administration Expands Participation in ITB Asia 2024 to Seize Business Tourism

TAIPEI, Taiwan - Oct. 21, 2024 - PRLog -- o actively promote international marketing in Asia and revitalize the domestic tourism and MICE industries, the Taiwan Tourism Administration will significantly expand its participation in ITB Asia 2024. From October 23 to 25, 2024, the Administration will collaborate with the Taipei City Government Department of Information and Tourism and six Taiwanese MICE industry partners to explore new business opportunities at ITB Asia in Singapore.

This year's ITB Asia will host National Tourism Organizations (NTOs) from countries such as Estonia (Visit Estonia), Finland (Visit Finland) and Malta (Malta Tourism Authority), as well as from key Asia-Pacific markets like Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines. In addition, Regional Tourism Organizations (RTOs), national Convention Bureaus, Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) promoting MICE and tourism technology companies will also be actively participating.

The Taiwan Pavilion will feature Taiwan's new tourism brand CI, "Waves of Wonder," as the central design theme. Inspired by Taiwan's diverse natural landscapes, the streamlined design will showcase the richness and unique appeal of Taiwan's natural and cultural resources. The pavilion will also offer interactive digital games where visitors can learn about Taiwan's famous street food and enjoy on-site tastings of authentic Taiwanese snacks, enhancing international tourists' appreciation of Taiwan's culinary culture.

The Administration will actively promote initiatives such as the "Accelerated and Expanded Inbound Tourism Promotion Program" and the "Buy-One-Get-One-Free High-Speed Rail Ticket for International Tourists" promotion, encouraging more international tourists to visit Taiwan.
