By: Nature Wanderers Private Limited Wild Clicks started in 2010 as India's first Live Photo contest in Corbett National Park and since then this contest has travelled to various forests of India including Kanha, Pench, Satpura, Ranthambore, Rann of Kutch, Dudhwa and Panna. Shivang Mehta, Author, Wildlife Photographer, Sony Ambassador and creator of this event says "Luck plays a huge role in wildlife photography and traditionally in online competitions luck and natural history at times empowers the creative element of photography. Wild Clicks honors and rewards creativity as all contestants are on an equal level playing field for those days. "India is a country full of fascinating stories and the objective of Wild Clicks is also to promote the culture of storytelling amongst photographers. Creating a photo story in 4 days is more like an assignment for the contestant and the amount of research and homework a photographer puts on the theme before the contest starts becomes a vital element for the contestant" adds Mehta. The contest would be judged by eminent conservationist Dr. Anish Andheria (President, Wildlife Conservation Trust), renowned photographers Sudhir Shivaram (Sony Ambassador) and Latika Nath and wildlife filmmaker Gautam Pandey. An esteemed photographer panel comprising Shivang Mehta, Saurabh Desai, Sushil Chikane, Rahul Sachdev and Dheeraj Paul would be mentoring the contestants during this period. Selection of contestants would be on the basis of their body of work which they have to submit to the Wild Clicks portal - https://naturewanderers.com/ INR 500,000 cash prizes are at stake in this season and the contest also has a young photographer category where contestants below the age of 20 can participate.
