Follow on Google News | JAX, the 10,000 Mile American Hero Announces Coast to Coast Charity Trek Beginning April 1, 2025"Angels Along the Way: Jax embarks on a perilous solo trek across America as he chases the sunrise toward the White House
By: Elite Ink This incredible feat is quite dangerous. Jack, alone, will be crossing the Rockies, the desert, the great plains, the Appalachian Mountains, dodging traffic, encountering wildlife, and taking on the unknown obstacles along the way, as he chases the sunrise each morning heading East toward The White House. In 2019, Jack successfully completed a 2,841 mile walk in 79 days from Newport Beach, California to Tybee Island, Georgia raising funds for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Jack made another trek back in 2020 from South Haven, Michigan to Port Huron, Michigan, traveling 262 miles in six days for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Jack made another journey across his home state in 2022 from Belle Isle, Michigan to Mackinac Island, totaling 362 miles in ten days, for the DMAN Foundation. In 2023, Jack courageously traveled on foot, carrying a dove named "Nikki" approximately 1,800 miles in 62 days from Sarasota, Florida to Salute Our Warriors event in Rochester Hills, Michigan. In 2024, Jack walked approximately 3,000 miles from Dana Pointe, California to Washington DC, Maryland in 76 days raising approximately $265,000. Jack added a leg to the Journey called Michigan's High Five walking an additional 270 more miles, from South Haven Beach, Michigan to Port Huron Light House in Michigan in 5 days, raising and additional $39,000. This totaled more than $304,000 raised for The Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund. This time around Jack will be raising money for The Rainbow Connection who grants wishes and provides support services to children, in Michigan, battling life threatening illnesses and also for The Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund who help our injured veterans and families of the fallen pay their living expenses. What's extra special about this journey is Jack will be revisiting the same path he took in 2024. On that journey he battled blizzards, tornadoes, bears, famine, and the like but the people, our people, the beautiful people of America showed up! They fed, housed, clothed, and watched over Jack as he walked endlessly to be the change. They were his angels along the way. In honor of those who served, as he served, we dedicate the naming of this walk to you, "Angels Along The Way."
