Michigan Walking Hero to be the First Person Tattooed with a Strumming Guitar

CENTERLINE, Mich. - May 2, 2023 - PRLog -- Over the years America's pastime has been defined as baseball, apple pie, and Chevrolet. The consensus may be to add tattoos and music to the popular remembrance list.  Jack "JAX" Huffman will become the first person to be tattooed with a special guitar on May 3rd, 2023 at Elite Ink Studios in Center Line, MI..

The Elite Ink guitar was constructed by Steampunk Steve Brooks with a dual purpose in mind, to tattoo and to play music at the same time.  John Motyka, Elite Ink is scheduled to tattoo the American flag on JAX Huffman while Mark Kassa, Slight Return performs the star spangled banner.  This will mark the first time that a person has been tattooed with a guitar while it was being strummed.

Jax Huffman who is an Army Veteran is having the tattoo applied as a motivational sendoff for his courageous planned 1500 mile walk for charity.  The walk will begin from Sarasota Florida and end in Rochester Hills Michigan July 13th at the 6th annual Salute our Warriors event.  His goal is to help raise $250,000 for this years event.  All of the proceeds that Jax Walk raises will go to the Salute our Warriors.

The Salute our Warriors event pays tribute to the men and women who have served and sacrificed in all five branches of military. The special event draws a large crowd of dignitaries from local, state, and national levels of public service, active military, and veterans.  Funds are raised to help injured soldiers pay their living expenses and aid families of the fallen.  Also individual veterans are selected each year as guests of honor and given a heroes recognition for their dedicated services.
