South Asians on Broadway to Produce Holiday Fundraising Concert

NEW YORK - Dec. 2, 2024 - PRLog -- Produced by South Asians on Broadway's Devi Peot, Home is Where We Are: 'Tis the Season for Celebration is an evening of music and spoken word that asks us, as third-culture kids from around the world: what do the holidays mean to us?

The evening will weave together powerful performances to explore nostalgia, experience, and reflect on third-culture identity and belonging during the festive season. The show hopes to bring us together through common threads, while celebrating what makes each of our holiday experiences unique.

A stellar lineup features Alyssa Watkins, Ari Afsar, Carter McPherson, Dan Berry, Deven Kolluri, Hoke Faser, Ishita Mili, J. Antonio Rodriguez, Johann George, John El-Jor, Kimberly Chatterjee, Kinza Surani, Laura Dadap, Luke Brodersen, Michael Dadap, Meetu Chilana, Nasir Panjawani, Sushma Saha, Aline Mayagoitia, and Vaibhu Mohan.

All proceeds will support the nonprofit organization What is the Power of We in its mission to combat gender-based violence. Celebrate culture, reflect on identity, and come together in community while contributing to a powerful cause.
