Big City Tourism and NY Waterway Hosts Holiday Food Drive Benefiting City Harvest at Piers 78 & 79

NEW YORK - Dec. 6, 2024 - PRLog -- Big City Tourism and NY Waterway Hosts Holiday Food Drive Benefiting City Harvest at Piers 78 & 79

November 27, 2024 – Big City Tourism and NY Waterway are proud to announce a community food drive in partnership with City Harvest, New York City's largest food rescue organization. The event will take place at Pier 78 and Pier 79, inviting residents and visitors to contribute to the fight against hunger during the holiday season.

Event Details:

• When: November 27/2024 – January 17/2025
• Where: Pier 78 (West 38th St. & 12th Ave.) and Pier 79 (West 39th St. & 12th Ave.)
• Time: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM daily Pier 79 and 11AM – 7PM Pier 78

This food drive aims to provide much needed food for families in need across the city, a mission especially critical as we approach the holidays. We encourage donations of non-perishable goods, including canned vegetables, canned fruits, soups, canned proteins, pasta, and more.

All collected items will be delivered to City Harvest to help stock pantries and soup kitchens citywide.
