"Twas The Night Before Christmas" by and for Lawyers

An Introduction to Lawyers and to Ther Legalese by a Law Professor

WASHINGTON - Dec. 20, 2024 - PRLog -- Just in time for the coming holiday, the law professor who persuaded Santa to quit smoking - as in "The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath" - shares a version of that famous poem/story "Twas the Night Before Christmas" as if it had been written by a lawyer and not by Clement Clarke Moore.

In other words, it's written entirely in legalese as a spoof on how some lawyers write, says public interest law professor John Banzhaf.

Please feel free to read it to any of your children, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, or very young friends, especially if they are thinking of going to law school.

Indeed, please feel free to share it with anyone else who might enjoy it.

Anyone is welcome to download a copy in PDF form, together with the original version by Clement Clarke Moore, at: Lawyer's Night Before Christmas (http://banzhaf.net/NightBeforeChristmas.pdf)
