EmpowHER India Partners with HDFC Securities to promote Financial Literacy in Maharashtra

MUMBAI, India - Jan. 14, 2025 - PRLog -- Raigad, Maharashtra – empowHER India, a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering women and adolescent girls through life skills education, has partnered with HDFC Securities to launch a transformative financial literacy initiative. This collaboration aims to educate and empower over 100,000+ individuals, including adolescents and adults across rural Maharashtra, with essential financial knowledge.

Beginning in January 2025,this initiative will engage diverse groups, including students, parents, and community stakeholders. By partnering with government schools and leveraging local volunteers, it aims to overcome critical barriers to financial understanding. The program focuses on imparting financial literacy to adolescents and community members, building foundational knowledge, enabling informed economic decisions, and promoting sustainable financial behavior to create economically resilient communities.
