Nigerian woven textile designers to Co-create collections with UK designers

PORT HARCOURT, Nigeria - Jan. 14, 2025 - PRLog -- Abuja, Nigeria – The Reroll Station Lab, an initiative of A+ Agency in collaboration with the British Council, is redefining creativity and sustainability in Nigeria. Known for its expertise in delivering transformative capacity-building programs, A+ Agency empowers women and youths through the creative and digital industries, merging vocational training and entrepreneurship with cultural preservation.
Reroll Station Lab 2.0 is a capacity building, co-creation and showcase program for designers in fashion, visual arts and architecture.
Reroll Station Lab 2.0, with support from the British Council and in partnership with Reweave UK, is an accelerator and incubator sustainability program, building capacity in sustainable design principles through creating a community platform where creatives can co-create new art and textiles by recycling & upcycling of waste materials to wearable and display art showcased to a global audience and get the creative opportunity to visit sustainable studios in SSA and the UK.

Reroll Station Lab 2.0 will select entrepreneurs and brands and provide them the opportunity to be trained by professionals on Zero- waste models and sustainable design principles by industry professionals in the sustainable design field, both in SSA (Sub-Saharan Africa ) and in the UK, participants will co-create with designers in the UK, have their work showcased in Nigeria and in the UK, gain access to international market and have their arts and designs uploaded digitally to an online museum for interaction with audience
