SANDY, Utah - Feb. 4, 2025 - PRLog -- With 25 years in the hair industry, Dianna Bautista has taught advanced hair cutting, coloring, and styling on stages and platforms all over the world. Her work as a hairstylist and photographer has been published in many fashion and hair magazines. Since 2011, Dianna has taken her knowledge to developing nations, to teach victims of domestic violence, extreme poverty, and human trafficking. From the impoverished favelas of Brazil to the slums of Kenya, women have been liberated through a career in hairdressing. Currently, Dianna lives in Thailand and works with those who have been rescued from sexual exploitation.

In 2015, Dianna founded Shear Love International, a project of the nonprofit organization Free Rain International. Shear Love is an educational beauty school program that trains people from all walks of life. Whether coming from a background of poverty, abuse, exploitation, or trafficking, Dianna believes that all people deserve an education and an opportunity to succeed. Shear Love International has built beauty schools and partnerships throughout Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Dianna couldn't be prouder to work with Shear Love and all they do to give women the choice to have a dignified career.

Interviewed by Winn Claybaugh, Dianna shares her journey of educating herself about this global crisis, volunteering in multiple mission trips around the world, and ultimately figuring out how her skill set as a hairstylist could have a life-changing impact on those who have been forced into human trafficking.

Dianna and Winn also introduce the State Department–sponsored website, "20 Ways You Can Help Fight Human Trafficking." (www.state.gov/20-ways-you-can-help-fight-human-trafficking).

While many feel that human trafficking is a third-world problem, this MASTERS interview with Dianna is filled with awareness and solutions for the masses. Her inspiring story will serve as a template for others to use their career experience and skills to become part of the solution.
