Follow on Google News | Draw A Fence Developing Integration Options for Estimating and Project Management Platforms"After 25 years in the fence industry," says Tamara Aspeling, founder and CEO of the Alberta, Canada-based startup, "we realized that there was a big gap in the tools and software available to fence companies in the drawing space. So we decided to build a tool to make fence and gate drawings as easy as shopping online." The Draw A Fence platform has certainly achieved that, taking drawings that would ordinarily take several hours for a CAD operator or draftsperson and turning them into a simple form-based solution that takes minutes. While all of Draw A Fence's current user base has discovered this important sales, marketing, and project management tool independent of any other software they may already be using, a new integration API will make their drawing generators available to fence companies directly from their estimating or project management software. Draw A Fence's new integration API will allow users of those third-party tools to log in, connect their Draw A Fence account, and send completed drawings directly back into estimate or project folders on their construction software, streamlining the process, and eliminating the need to manually upload their drawings. Future integrations are already planned that will allow users to enter fence data directly on third-party tools and generate a fence drawing without ever leaving that dashboard, all powered by Draw A Fence's patent-pending drawing generator process. Users with current Draw A Fence (https://www.drawafence.com) accounts will also be able to connect their accounts directly to estimating and project management platforms that integrate with their system. Currently, Draw A Fence is pursuing integration with True Construction Software's fence estimating application, but their goal is always to make accessing project-specific, professional- "We're always happy to work with other fence software companies," says Aspeling. "The fence industry is notoriously underserved in terms of technology that meets their needs and, more importantly, meets them where they are. So if we can make it easier to get fences done and satisfy their client's documentation requirements, we're always happy to help." End
