New Housing Legal Assistance Office Now Open at Sanford Courthouse

SANFORD, Fla. - March 26, 2025 - PRLog -- Seminole County Bar Association Legal Aid Society (SCLA) is proud to announce that its new office for Free Legal Assistance with Housing Issues is now open at the Downtown Sanford Courthouse. The office opened on March 17th and is already serving as a vital resource for Seminole County residents facing housing-related legal challenges, including eviction defense, rental disputes, security deposit issues, and maintenance concerns.

This new office represents a continued commitment by SCLA to ensure that low-income tenants, veterans, seniors, and families facing housing insecurity have access to the legal support they need. By advocating for fair housing rights and preventing wrongful evictions, the office helps promote stability and justice within the community.

Residents can now receive services at the Housing Legal Assistance Office at the Downtown Sanford Courthouse, open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.
