Book Crew Podcast Lands Terrestrial Radio Spot

CARLSBAD, N.M. - March 28, 2025 - PRLog -- The Book Crew podcast is proud to announce that they will be on every Monday at noon Central time on KCCC 930AM radio in Carlsbad New Mexico starting Monday, March 31, 2025. Book Crew has a new format, will be between 30 and 40 minutes, and have a new intro, outro, and graphics.

Book Crew host and award-winning author Beth A. Freely said, "I'm super excited! Being on the local radio station allows Dirk and me to reach out to everyone looking for new things to listen to and learn. Hopefully, they will find us fun and engaging, so they keep coming back."

Book Crew host and award-winning writer Dirk Hooper said, "I've been a fan of AM radio since I was a kid, listening to Art Bell on 'Coast to Coast AM,' or 'Science Friday' on NPR. I'm a strong advocate for local radio and I'm thrilled with this new level for the show."

Book Crew, hosted by indie authors Beth A. Freely and Dirk Hooper, was crafted to help writers get their book written, edited, published and promoted. Book Crew features interviews with writers currently in the trenches, deep-dive tutorials, hot topic panels with experts, and copious tips, tricks, and personal insight to help you on your author journey.

Book Crew launched in 2022 under the Taskforce Geek banner on YouTube. In addition to KCCC 930AM in Carlsbad New Mexico, the new show will debut on YouTube and Rumble at noon Central time on March 31st, 2025. Episodes will soon to be worldwide on your favorite podcast aggregator!

With nine full-length novels and five novellas under her belt, award-winning author Beth A. Freely calls the village of Hope, New Mexico, home with its population of "113 if you count our cats." She is currently writing multiple novels at the same time while also editing one in anticipation of its 10th anniversary this year.

Dirk Hooper is a professional writer who has worked for many high-profile online magazines, has won the Top Writer Award at Quora for three years, and a Moore Award for copywriting in 2017. He published his first book under a pen name in 2018 and will publish the sequel to that book in May of 2025. He is currently writing a novel and comic anthology for his series "Demontowne," and a non-fiction book about personal branding for creatives.
