Since its establishment in 1997, the SIA Foundation has awarded more than $3.3 million to fund nonprofit projects across Indiana. The newest recipients represent Benton, Boone, Carroll, Clinton, Floyd, Marion, Morgan, Porter, Saint Joseph, Tippecanoe, and Vanderburgh counties. The SIA Foundation awards grants twice annually to nonprofit organizations seeking up to $15,000 in capital funding for arts and culture, health and welfare, or education projects. (Benton Co.) – $14,382.18 Brake lathe machine Boys & Girls Club of Morgan County (Morgan Co.) – $8,947.99 Commercial gas range, ice machine & water fountain Central High School (Vanderburgh Co.) – $10,467.64 Pottery kilns & related equipment Combat Cookies (Tippecanoe Co.) – $14,251.58 Building supplies to create community space Cultivate Food Rescue (Saint Joseph Co.) – $13,631.99 Steam kettle, can rack & utility cart Dayton Elementary School (Tippecanoe Co.) – $14,500.00 Greenhouse & related supplies Delphi Community High School (Carroll Co.) – $11,279.05 Chemistry lab equipment Friends of the Town Clock Church (Floyd Co.) – $4,900.00 Picnic tables Healthy Communities of Clinton County (Clinton Co.) – $10,024.93 Irrigation system & utility vehicle Hear Indiana (Marion Co.) – $13,922.10 Sound booth/clinical audiometer Klondike Middle School (Tippecanoe Co.) – $6,000.00 Woodworking/ Lafayette Lions Club (Tippecanoe Co.) – $6,995.00 Vision screening camera Lafayette Police Department (Tippecanoe Co.) – $3,600.00 Drone mobile command centers & related equipment MAAC Foundation (Porter Co.) – $13,490.00 Equipment for fire response and EMT training The Milk Bank (Marion Co.) – $6,328.00 Commercial three-door freezer About the SIA Foundation The SIA Foundation was established in October 1997 with a $1 million gift from Subaru of Indiana Automotive. SIA has made subsequent contributions of $4 million, for total contributions of $5 million. The SIA Foundation uses the funding to award grants and matching gifts to nonprofit organizations in Indiana. The SIA Foundation has awarded over $3.3 million in capital grants. End
