Bamboo Travel's new 14-night China to Laos by Train tour is an overland journey from Kunming, the capital of China's Yunnan province, to Vientiane, Laos' tiny and laid-back capital city, travelling as much as possible by the new, high-speed train.
After a glacially slow recovery post-Covid, Asia specialist Bamboo Travel reports that enquiries for holidays to China are now increasing month by month, and forward bookings for the next 12 months are up to 60% on pre-pandemic levels.
