How to tell if a press release is credible?

If the contact email shown below the press release is a company email address, and the press release is about the same company, and there is a green check mark next to the contact email, then-

1. The contact email address on record has been verified as a working email address. However, it is displayed partially for spam protection.
2. The email owner has agreed to be the contact person for that press release.
