What is the purpose of press release contact verification email?

This email is sent automatically after a press release is submitted.

Clicking on the confirmation link inside the email allows the recipient to actively accept use of their email address as the press release contact email address. Our system then displays contact email address as verified, thereby further increasing the credibility of the press release.

The confirmation link also gives recipient the opportunity to reject any unauthorized use of the contact email address.

Note - If you haven't receive the contact verification email, you can get another one by following the procedure below-

1. Go to the press release.
2. Click on the "Contact Author" button.
3. In the "To" field, click on the red "Email Unverified" link.
4. Follow the instructions on the "Verify PR Contact" page that opens next.
