By: Motor Werks BMW Mr. Westbrook directs the entire Aftersales function for BMWNA, including Aftersales Business Development and Marketing, Technical Service, Parts Logistics, Warranties, Customer Relations, Product Analysis, Vehicle Distribution, and the BMW Group University. He originally joined BMW Manufacturing in 1994 and worked as an Engineering Change Coordinator in Spartanburg, SC. From 1995 to 2000, Westbrook was the Manufacturing Project Leader for the Z3 M roadster and M coupe. He later worked for BMW M GmbH as a Liaison Engineer to BMW Manufacturing Company. Joining the launch team at the BMW R&D Headquarters in Munich, he worked as Lead Planner for the BMW Z4 launch. In 2002 he was the Launch Manager at Plant Spartanburg, and in 2004 was named Manager for Total Vehicle Quality. Transferring to BMW South Africa in 2006, he assumed the role of General Manager, Total Vehicle Quality and New Model Launch. In 2008 he returned to Munich as the Manufacturing Project Manager for the updated BMW X5. The new service center at Motor Werks BMW in Barrington was opened earlier this year. The extensive renovation added the most sophisticated technologies along with additional lanes to provide Chicagoland drivers with a service experience like no other. In addition to the improvements in the service facility itself, new customer lounges were constructed, offering a wide variety of amenities.
