Outdoorkit announce increase to Brasher Footwear Range

Dec. 11, 2008 - PRLog -- Outdoorkit are pleased to announce that they have more than doubled their range of Brasher Footwear. The increase covers two main areas; the core Brasher area of walking boots and their new Adventure Travel range, AT:20.

In the core walking range, the Brasher Aztrek GTX is a classic-style leather boot with a Gore-Tex waterproof and breathable lining.

The Brasher Lairg is a more contemporary fabric boot, again with a waterproof Gore-Tex lining, designed for mid-to-light use - a good boot for £90 RRP. The Hekla is a cheaper and lighter boot, ideal for Duke of Edinburgh use and also has a waterproof Gore-Tex lining, for £75.

In the Adventure Travel Range (AT:20), there are a number of new shoes.

The Brasher Bosoli is lightweight and comfortable Nubuck leather shoe ideal for casual use. For hotter climates, the Brasher Kamati XCR is a versatile ankle-length boot with a Gore-Tex lining that is ideal for casual use as well as travel. Keep in mind that the Gore-Tex lining, while providing waterproofing, will cause some moisture to stay in the shoe and is not ideal for extremely hot weather. In these climates, a shoe with more ventilation would be necessary.
At the other end of the spectrum, the Brasher Columbus ankle boot and the Brasher Likoma are more contemporary and suit and more casual use while still providing the foot support, comfort and waterproofing/breathability that Brasher are reknown for.
