March 31, 2009 - PRLog -- Hauppauge, New York - ION Computer Systems, Inc. today introduced the U10 series of 1U (1.75”) high performance servers.  The U10 server will incorporate Intel’s SR1625 (1U) chassis with the S5520UR server board and support a wide range of Intel® Xeon® processor 5500 series which delivers leading performance that adapts to application needs, intelligently scales energy use to performance demands, and offers best-in-class virtualization. Ideal for businesses of all sizes, the Intel® Xeon® processor 5500 series can automatically increase processor frequency when needed and reduce power during low-use times.
