Four States Have Approved New "Green" Mortgage Certification Course For Continuing Education.

June 8, 2009 - PRLog -- Green Real Estate Education announces today that 4 states, Illinois, Maryland, Texas and Washington State have approved their " green certification" mortgage course for 4 hours of continuing education credits and 2 of these states, Texas and Maryland have approved the on line version. "We are very excited about this next offering from our company." says Kerry  Mitchell, President of Green Real Estate Education.

As most professionals in the mortgage industry have been affected by the mortgage meltdown, the company feels this could help to spark markets. The refinancing of current mortgages is slowing now and Mitchell says that this can help those who are inquiring about energy efficient upgrades for their home. "There is not a consumer out there who would not benefit from a mortgage professional who understands how their client can save a money and include these upgrades refinance." Says Mitchell. "Fannie Mae, VA, FHA and Freddie Mac do have requirements and it is time the industry learned more. There are forms and procedures that need to be addressed and we teach this in our course. Once again, we know not only are we the only ones in the country educating this sector, our model of under $100 is an additional key to our success."

After submitting curriculum outlines, the company's course is receiving interest from 3 other states with more inquiring.
