June 18, 2009 - PRLog -- The Guinness Partnership comprises five organisations: the Guinness Trust, Guinness Northern Counties, Guinness Hermitage, Guinness Midsummer and a new member who joined the Partnership in 2009 - Gloucestershire Housing Association. The Partnership manages over 55,000 properties and, in addition to the traditional Housing Association services, also provides other national services including Guinness Care and Support, which delivers services to residents with support needs; and Guinness Developments Ltd, which builds high specification homes for outright sale on the open market.

Following a company-wide rebrand, ANS Group has helped to design and implement a proof of concept to consolidate the existing infrastructures into one. This will enable the Guinness Partnership to have a common domain structure with the same login process, filing systems and general look and feel in all five locations for over 2000 users.

Paul Sweeney, Managing Director of ANS Group, said:

"The consolidation of IT infrastructure during any form of merger is vitally important and reliable systems with a consistent appearance and structure can significantly impact on performance.

"We have worked on a number of projects with the Guinness Partnership already, but we are pleased to be able to help the organisation on a more long-term basis for such an important task.

"Such engagement provides them with considerably better value for money and enables us to build up a strong and lasting relationship as trusted advisers to the business.  We are very much looking forward to nurturing this relationship and working with the Guinness Partnership in the future."

Nealle Ball Head of ICT - Service Delivery at Guinness Partnership, said:

"Integrating infrastructures is always a challenging time both technically and also for the impact on our customers during the change. Having a relationship with ANS helps to minimise risks during the project as they bring with them considerable experience and technical expertise gained during similar projects with other organisations that in-house staff may not necessarily have."
