June 18, 2009 - PRLog -- "Internet technology has made incredible leaps in recent years and this was a fantastic opportunity for Manchester Camerata to move with the times and become more commercially minded, says Sue Colvin, Camerata's Head of Marketing.

The creativity and internet marketing know-how of the Text team combined with the super-fast and reliable UKFast hosting and bandwidth means that, for the first time, Camerata's website can capture and reflect the dynamism and passion of one of the orchestra's performances at the Bridgewater Hall or RNCM. "The functionality we now have at our fingertips means that we will be able to fully embrace the world of multimedia and provide visitors to the site with fast streaming video and audio files, not only of live performances but also of our award-winning community learning projects," continues Sue. "And what's more - Lawrence Jones' passion for music means that the team really understood what we were trying to achieve".

Designed by Liverpool-based creatives Nonconform, Text have built the site to include e-commerce and online giving tools and very soon music lovers will be able to support outreach work and buy their tickets and Camerata CDs through the site.
