Follow on Google News | Executive Leadership Skills: Trainers Offer Improvement in 12 HoursPursuit of Excellence, Inc. certifies its first team of Executive Leadership Trainers who can deliver measurable results in 12 hours.
Those receiving their certification are Ava Gembala, of Denton, Lynda Crooms, of Arlington, Russ Riddle, of Murphy, Anne Lacey Holmes, Billy Peace, and Eric Pineda, all from Dallas. Each of the graduates was honored with a certificate of completion from Marie Diaz, Chief Executive and Chief Visionary Officer of Pursuit of Excellence, Inc., during graduation ceremonies held at the Company’s headquarters in Dallas. During their certification training, the attendees were required to learn and then demonstrate their ability to diagnose client needs, to design, plan, and deliver effective training. Upon certification, the graduates became licensed as independent training consultants to offer Pursuit of Excellence, Inc’s, flagship executive leadership training program. The program, which is titled “Improving Performance & Results,” is authored by Rex C. Houze, who is a 37 year veteran in the leadership training industry. “The global marketplace needs stronger and more effective leaders if we expect to improve our business climate sooner, rather than later,” says Marie Diaz. “I strongly believe in the old saying ‘as steel sharpens steel, so does one man sharpen another. ’ Our independent certified trainers are equipped to assist corporate executives and those serving in leadership positions, sharpen their leadership skills. The members of this graduating class possess real world experience and the wisdom to make a difference in the professional lives of many business executives”. Although many companies around the country have been forced to slash their in-house training budgets due to the economy, this does not diminish the value of training. According to Steve Gallegos, who serves as the Director of Training for Pursuit of Excellence, Inc., “I think companies realize that leadership training is crucial to maintain organizational stability and to promote growth. Companies that are looking for cost effective and time efficient leadership training, now have a very viable option”. Russ Riddle, a Dallas-based attorney and professional speaker, participated in the leadership trainer’s certification program, intending to improve his own presentation skills. “What I learned from the training was far more important than the certification itself. I learned more about myself and about my fellow human beings. Every member of a team brings valuable experiences. Leaders must know how to draw on these experiences and utilize them for the overall success of the venture,” says Mr. Riddle. Another of the graduates, Anne Lacey Holmes, says, “Having served as a corporate sales trainer for many years, I have become familiar with many training methods, some of which are more effective than others. I am excited to be able to offer a program that is specifically designed to improve leadership skills in only 12 hours”. Lynda Crooms, a Licensed Professional Counselor from Arlington, agrees. “In my career I have had the privilege of affecting positive changes in others, but for the most part it takes some time to see these changes. I am excited that I now have the ability to influence changes in our business leaders, and that I can do so in a relatively short period of time”. Ava Gembala, a training and safety consultant from Denton, believes that becoming a certified executive leadership trainer is a great enhancement to her own personal and professional life. “I have experience training corporate personnel in a variety of subjects. All training has relative importance, and I believe that this leadership training, which includes how to communicate better, maintain a proper attitude, and achieve goals, is a critical component toward the well balanced life of executives and managers. I look forward to helping others discover their potential,” says Ms. Gembala. # # # About Pursuit of Excellence, Inc.
