16 Truck Convoy Set To Roll Across The Country In 2010

Johnson Storage & Moving, an agent of United Van lines signs a three year deal as the official trucking provider of the Caged Heat Racing Series.

Aug. 11, 2009 - PRLog -- The Caged Heat Racing Series developed by High Octane Thrills is set to roll in 2010 and with that comes a major touring operation which will require 16 tractor trailers to transport the massive portable race track and the accompanying across the country like a large rock show. High Octane Thrills and partner Executive Engagement Solutions spent several months developing a comprehensive trucking plan and presented it to several trucking operation for proposals. Executive Engagement Solutions CEO Mike Childs was quoted as saying – “We had three tremendous candidates and it was extremely difficult making this decision. All things being fairly close to equal, I was most impressed with Johnson Storage / United Van Lines, they surfaced numerous proactive thoughts and plans to ensure success. I would expect Johnson to be part of this Advisory Board as we move forward.”
When looking for a trucking partner High Octane Thrills was well aware of the major undertaking it would be to support a 16 truck tour. Founders Thomas Walls and Jon Heister bring to the table over 40 years of combined entertainment touring experience. They knew first hand going in what they were looking for and what they would expect from a trucking partner. High Octane Thrills expected the 16 drivers to play an integral role in the operation by doubling as touring staff along with drop bottom trucks and a uniform look to the convoy.
Thomas Walls quoted – “When this spectacle rolls into town I expect traffic to stop and heads to turn. The convoy will build the expectation and the curiosity around the series. Not to mention it gives us 16 two sided bill boards to feature our marketing partners. I saw the proposals that Shawn and Mike brought to the table and had to agree. If this thing was going to happen as we envisioned it – Johnson Storage and United Van Lines was the only choice.”
As it turns out Johnson Storage and United Van Lines will bring much more to the table than trucks. With their diverse range of localized assets they bring to the table local labor, local catering services and other essential items like forklifts, cranes and man lifts.
Entering into a 3 year deal – High Octane Thrills and Johnson Moving / United Van Lines join forces to bring the Caged Heat Racing Series to a city near you.
