Sept. 8, 2009 - PRLog -- Laurel, MD - Black Bag Productions, a full service event planning company based in Laurel, Maryland announces the creation of a new online magazine specifically targeting brides of color and the “repeat” or second-time bride.  Black Bag Bridal will be an online quarterly and feature articles, beauty, health, fashion, style and ideas for weddings and more.  Company owner and President Kim Moss says that she realized there was no other online magazine available to brides of color who may be older and not interested in getting the cutesy 20-something styles for their first or second wedding.  Moss, who planned her own wedding in August 2005, found it challenging to find the right style and look for her second wedding.  “Being over 45 at the time was already challenging to go into David’s Bridal and try on dresses that didn’t make me look crazy and clueless about my age – everything is really directed toward to the under 30 crowd and I wanted to have an elegant affair.”  While planning a client wedding this past August, Moss decided to create a magazine targeting the same audience she was a member of and found other colleagues who recognized the same need.

The online magazine will be published quarterly and will address beauty, fashion, travel, photography, flowers and décor.  Additionally, subjects that are normally saved for after the honeymoon will be addressed through articles from experts in their respective areas.  I contacted my clients who I knew would be able to write about areas important to not only “first time” brides, but repeat brides as well.

The official launch of the magazine is expected to take place at the BWI Embassy Suites on Saturday, November 14 during the Black Bag Productions Bridal Tea and Fashion Show.  The tea and fashion show will feature vendors that specialize in weddings and will offer several raffles including a wedding cake that serves 75 guests from LeMon Delights of Ellicott City, MD; bridal party jewelry, discounts on Carlson Craft invitations, live make up makeovers, bridal fashions by Holi Cain, and more.  For more information on Black Bag Productions, visit the site at www.blackbagproductionsonline.com
