Supply Chain, Logistics Firm D.W. Morgan Names Tim Christensen As Operations Manager

Sept. 8, 2009 - PRLog -- PLEASANTON, Calif. — The D.W. Morgan Company has named Tim Christensen as Acting Operations Manager for its expanded presence in Mexico.
 
In his new role, Christensen oversees the day-to-day operations of the Guadalajara facility for the supply-chain management and transportation logistics company. He previously served as a driver at Morgan’s Austin, Texas, operation.

“After nearly a decade of providing forwarding services in Mexico, we established a corporate presence in Guadalajara in June,” said David W. Morgan, CEO and founder of D.W. Morgan Company. “Tim’s flexibility and drive make him an excellent candidate for this role.”

The company chose Guadalajara for its corporate presence in Mexico because it is a burgeoning high-tech manufacturing and distribution center—known as the Silicon Valley of Mexico—and because of its proximity to Texas, where Morgan has operations in Austin, Dallas and Houston.

Morgan has deployed its own dedicated fleet of trucks in Mexico, transporting goods for high-tech manufacturers throughout the country, as well as to North America.

Christensen joined Morgan two years ago, and helped with the Dallas start-up.
