"NEBS Level 3 is a rigorous suite of tests designed to clearly demonstrate the quality of a product. Extending NEBS Level 3 to the OKEFORD 1500 Announcement Server demonstrates our commitment to providing high quality, ‘carrier-grade’ Network Equipment Building Systems (NEBS) testing is required in the U.S. for equipment operated in carrier networks. To obtain NEBS Level 3 Certification, the OKEFORD 1500 Announcement Server was subject to extensive testing including fire resistance, earthquake survivability, vibration, thermal margin testing, electrostatic discharge (ESD), electromagnetic interference (EMI) and power faults.
