For 518 West, 13 is a Lucky Number

Oct. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- Raleigh, NC-- 518 West Italian Café will celebrate its 13 year anniversary the entire month of October. Specials will include roll back prices on several menu items along with a month long raffle.

The celebration will culminate in an anniversary party on October 22. At 9:30 p.m. a drawing will be made for the grand prize, a Fly 150 Vespa. Additionally, throughout the evening raffle prizes will include multiple gift cards up to $100 in value and 518 West T-shirts. Customers may enter at 518 West, located at 518 West Jones Street in downtown Raleigh.

“When we decided to come to Glenwood South in Raleigh, there might have been two other restaurants in the area,” says 518’s Mickey Ewell.  “We are happy to have grown and developed along with this wonderful area and want to celebrate with our loyal customers.”

The restaurant is a part of the Chapel Hill Restaurant Group and was the Group’s first Raleigh location. 518 West is known for its dishes inspired by the flavors of Italy and the Mediterranean including its seasonal pastas, wood fired pizzas, fresh seafood, and steaks and they will celebrate their anniversary by highlighting these dishes during the month of October.

Executive Chef and General Manager Blaine Neirman, has been a part of 518 West from the beginning and is excited to celebrate its success. “We’re getting better all the time,” said Neirman. “We have always put great value on quality, fresh food and customer service, which has allowed this restaurant to flourish.  Our consistent success is allowing us to celebrate 13 years with the people who got us here, our customers and staff.”
