Rotana Selects Mobinex’ Smartface as a New Technology Platform to Develop Mobile Applications

Nov. 4, 2009 - PRLog -- Mobinex has signed an exclusive solution partnership agreement with Rotana,  the largest entertainment company in the MENA region, to supply and deploy mobile applications.

This move will enable Rotana to offer its top-notch mostly Arabic content exclusively in the countries of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Bahrain, Morocco and Algeria. Rotana will use Smartface Platform to develop a wide range of mobile applications which will provide content  such as entertainment, sports, poetry and religious. The scope of the agreement is expected to be expanded to other regions and additional content.

Under the agreement, Mobinex will deliver Smartface Platform plus a range of professional services such as  system integration, technical support and training.

Mobinex’s Smartface Platform enables easy and fast publishing of mobile applications due to its drag-and-drop development environment. It also supports multiple mobile operating systems such as Symbian S60, BlackBerry, and J2ME; reduces time-to-market and therefore costs of mobile application development.
