D.w. Morgan Named Partner In Epa’s Smartway Program

Nov. 10, 2009 - PRLog -- PLEASANTON, Calif.—The D.W. Morgan Company,  a supply-chain management and transportation logistics services firm, has been named as a SmartWay Transport Partner by the Environmental Protection Agency.

The SmartWay brand identifies products and services that reduce transportation-related emissions. Through the program, the EPA recognizes those companies that, through their policies and business associates, help to protect our environment, reduce fuel consumption, and improve our air quality for future generations.

D.W. Morgan is named as a SmartWay Partner in the Truck Carrier category, and early next year the company will be recognized as a SmartWay Partner in the Logistics category as well.

SmartWay Partners must demonstrate fuel efficiency and a reduction in greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions. This is achieved through the operation of fuel-efficient, reduced-emission vehicles and fuel-saving policies that contribute to achieving these goals.
