By: 24hrmom Cheryl Lynn Pope an author, entrepreneur, freelance writer, literary publicist and parent coach has served on several nonprofit boards. She is an active member of Detroit Parent Network, Women of Wealth and Wise Steward Ministries. Local and national media have recognized the importance of uplifting parents and children. To that end, Pope has been featured on The Rolonda Radio Show, Radio One HOT 102.7 FM, and Good News Television, The Macomb-Daily Newspaper, The Student Associated Press and many more outlets. In July 2009, Pope entered into a new genre--children's books! The Adventures of Princess Zaria: Quest for the Three Precious Gems is the first book in the series. The new children’s book author has since branded herself and her new business Royalty Industries, LLC. With the assistance of The 'Real' Princess Zaria, Pope has started The Princess Zaria Fan Club, Little Princess Book Club, Princess Craft Parties, and The Real Princess Zaria and Mommy Blog. She frequently visit local and out-of-town schools, daycare centers, Parent organizations, head start organizations and more speaking about the importance of high self esteem in girls. In addition to children’s book publishing and promoting, Pope manages Outfits for Angels, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that provides new clothes to needy children. Pope lives with her husband and two children in Detroit, MI.
