One-man show with Henry Asencio to feature famed rock violinist Aaron Meyer

Feb. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- -Special two-day event will feature live painting performances Saturday, February 20th from 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, February 21st from 1 to 4 p.m.

Vinings Gallery is pleased to announce that it will host a rare, two-day event with the contemporary museum artist Henry Asencio on February 20 and 21, 2010. Art enthusiasts from around Atlanta and the South will enjoy observing Asencio at work as he creates an original oil painting and an original charcoal drawing during the Vinings Gallery show. As a special addition to Henry's show this year, rock violinist Aaron Meyer will be in attendance and will perform from his riveting musical repertoire while Asencio paints live!

About Asencio: Best known for his masterpieces of the female form, Henry Asencio's signature style combines elements of abstract expressionism and abstract realism. The artist's unusual approach and style has touched the souls of collectors around the globe. Working mainly in oils, his open brushwork, sweeping color, use of texture and precise drawing appeals to a wide range of art lovers and has earned him critical acclaim in the fine art world.

This show kicks off the month-long exhibition and will showcase the largest body of Asencio original paintings available for sale anywhere in the world.
