Access Information Management Acquires NorCal Shred

Feb. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Access Information Management, provider of records management, storage and destruction services for hardcopy and electronic records announces the acquisition of NorCal Shred.  With this acquisition Access gains additional mobile document destruction resources and expands its Northern California service reach.  

“The NorCal Shred acquisition is very strategic for our Northern California operations as it increases our already significant market share in the area.  This operation will be very quickly integrated into our Chico operation with previous owner and operator Charles Brooks joining our team as the Branch Manager in the market,” said Rob Alston, President of Operations and Business Development. “NorCal Shred has an excellent service reputation and a track record of providing outstanding community support and we look forward to maintaining those commitments.”

Access will continue to provide mobile document destruction services throughout the Chico area, expanding the service offering to include hardcopy records storage and management, computer media and vital records protection through a state-of-the-art vault environment, secure plant-based document destruction and shredding services for all products including paper, plastic, electronic media and computer hard drives; scanning and Web-based digital storage.

Within 30 days, NorCal Shred will begin operating under the Access name.
