D.W. Morgan Donates Meals For Hungry Children Worldwide With Every March Shipment

March 1, 2010 - PRLog -- PLEASANTON, Calif. ― D.W. Morgan is dedicating its global supply chain and logistics management success to fight hunger through its Delivering Hope for the Hungry campaign. In March, the company will make a donation for each shipment it delivers through its supply chain, with the goal of providing 30,000 meals to starving children around the world. Morgan’s non-profit-partner for Delivering Hope for the Hungry is Feed My Starving Children, a 501(c)(3) organization focused on providing critical meals to the neediest regions in Africa, Asia and the Americas.

Feed My Starving Children meals are distributed in more than 60 countries through missionary partnerships at orphanages, schools, clinics, refugee camps and malnourishment centers.  94 percent of all donations to FMSC goes directly toward the feeding program.  In 2008, Feed My Starving Children brought over 73 million meals to children around the world.  They’ve provided Haiti youth with more than 25 million meals.

D.W. Morgan’s corporate donation will be supplemented with fund-raising efforts via social media throughout the month. Delivering Hope for the Hungry is part of Morgan’s larger corporate social responsibility program.
