Nicholas was there to collect a munificent donation of £2,300.00 raised for the AGF jointly by the Parents Association and by the school with a 'no uniform day'. Nicholas talked about the work planned for the Foundation to the Fifth and Sixth Forms of the School, which has grown rapidly in recent years from some 60 to 170 pupils. The questions from the children that followed his talk were impressively intelligent, informed and really engaged; they had consulted the AGF website, they wanted to know more about Andrew's work in Haiti, they were truly concerned for the Haitian people. They are a credit to Knocktemple School - and to themselves. # # # The Andrew Grene Foundation is a charity dedicated to providing aid direct to the people of Haiti. Funds are allocated to the education of Haitian children and to the microfinancing of small-scale Haitian businesses. End
