While there will be preprescribed formulas from some companies and institutes who claim that they have figured out the magic code to crack (read clear) the CAT entrance, the results are far divorced from their claims. On the contrary there are certain fundamental rules like develop a good reading habit, read some good English works, newspapers and keep abreast of the domestic and global happenings, be a clear and simple thinker. Developing an ability of breaking complex situations into simple things and training yourself to become a decision maker will help you bell the CAT.

Another attribute, very critical for success in the business world, is an ability to hold oneself calm in stressful situations and continue to focus on the issue. Most of the times, we would succumb to the pressures, be it pressures of timelines, competition or any other, and start to get distracted and eventually lose out. As you prepare for the CAT, be very careful that you do not panic for any reason and are able to hold your focus on the objective. If the candidate were to panic they will surely not be able to do well.
