Colorado Technical University Sioux Falls to Co-Sponsor 2010 Technology Summit

Great Plains Tech Summit to provide opportunities for local professionals to explore emerging technology trends and products

April 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Colorado Technical University (CTU) Sioux Falls today announced its co-sponsorship of the 2010 Great Plains Tech Summit (formerly the South Dakota TechKnowlogy Summit). CTU Sioux Falls will be co-sponsoring the Oct. 14, 2010 event focused on technological innovation and application with New Horizons of South Dakota, part of the largest independent IT training company in the world with 300 centers in 70 countries.

Covering a wide range of technology-related topics, the summit is designed for business executives, entrepreneurs, technology professionals and marketers interested in leveraging technology to improve productivity and remain competitive in a business environment increasingly dependent on technological resources. The event will feature a variety of keynote speakers, as well as breakout sessions focused on specific technologies and topics. Some of these topics include:

· Social networking for professional advancement
· Technology and intellectual property protection
· Internet marketing
· Emerging green technologies
· Information technology for health care management
· Use of technology for online learning

The event will be held on Oct. 14, 2010 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., and is free and open to the public.
