Celebrate Mother’s Day At The Forge Club

April 12, 2010 - PRLog -- Vernon Hills, IL - The Forge Club [www.theforgeclub.com], the premiere North Shore private dining club is now open to the public.  The elegant Mother’s Day buffet, featuring entertainment and the outstanding cuisine synonymous with the Forge Club, will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. for brunch and from 5 p.m. for dinner. .  Brunch is priced at $47.50 and dinner at $54.50 for adults; $27.50 for children not yet in High School; $7.50 for youngsters who have not entered 1st grade; and no charge for little ones.  Live music, magicians and our balloon artist will add to the festive atmosphere of the day, entertaining kids and adults alike. Reservations are strongly recommended.
   
The Forge Club’s buffet table will be graced with Rack of Lamb, Beef Tenderloin, Prime Rib, and Baked Ham, all carved to order by one of our chefs. Guests will also be able to make selections from the elaborate platters of Chilled Seafood, including Shrimp, Oysters, and Poached Salmon, plus a lavish array of Pâtés and Salads, and a variety of hot and cold entrées dishes.  The sumptuous brunch buffet will include some customary favorites: Omelets made to order, Eggs Benedict, and the Forge Club’s Bananas Foster French Toast.  These items are replaced with heartier fare, including Lobster and Chateaubriand, in the evening.  Everything is prepared in the Forge Club kitchen by Executive Chef James Katos.  

A signature sweet table of delicious desserts, including Crème Brulee, Elegant Pastries, Cakes, Tarts, Cookies, and Fresh Fruit all magnificently presented but surpassed in looks by taste, will end this gastronomic feast.  After coffee is served, the goodbyes said, the gathering will be over but the memory of a special day will linger.  The Forge Club will become part of your Mother’s Day tradition as it has already for so many families.
