Rick Boysal Teams with Thompson Motorsports for NASCAR K&N Pro Series Road Course Events

April 21, 2010 - PRLog -- CTR Motorsports and driver Rick Boysal are set to contest all three road course events on the NASCAR K&N Pro Series schedule this season. Boysal, a seasoned road racing veteran will pilot the #60 Gatorz Precision Built Eyewear Toyota Camary prepared by Thompson Motorsports out of Jerome, Idaho.

Boysal began his racing career in 2000 and has focused on road racing winning races and championships along the way in the SCCA and then later racing the SPEED World Challenge in a Corvette, along with competing in select Grand AM Sports Car races.

Last season he made his NASCAR debut at Infineon Raceway where he finished 19th after working his way through the field running as high as ninth from his 33rd starting position. This season Boysal hopes to build on his previous success be in contention in each of the three road course events he enters.

“I am really excited about the events this year,” Boysal said. The Thompson Motorsports team are proven winners in the series and bring a great deal of experience and knowledge that will only help be become better in these cars.”

The first of three NASCAR K&N Pro Series events for Boysal is June 19 at the picturesque road course of Infineon Raceway in beautiful Sonoma, CA. Then Boysal will turn his attention to the flat 1.9-mile layout of Portland International Raceway in Portland, OR July 18. His final series road course event will be in September along side the Grand AM Series at the state-of- the-art Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah September 12.
