Project Equilibria Announces "Connecting the Phases: Summer Enrichment Program for Grades 3-8

April 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Project Equilibria announces its Connecting the Phases: Math and Science Summer Enrichment Program taking place July 19 -August, 13, 2010 from 9:00 am-3:00 pm at Piedmont Middle School at 740 Magnolia Avenue, Piedmont, CA. Connecting the Phases provides elementary and middle school students (grades 3-8) with opportunities for hands on learning and skill development in math and science. Each week students will explore a different theme in biology, chemistry, earth science, mathematics or physics. Quality subject matter experts will serve as activity leaders to teach concepts through hands on learning.

“When you enroll your child in Connecting the Phases Summer Enrichment Program, you will be providing your child with a unique opportunity to learn math and science in a way they have never learned it before” says CEO Dr. Saphronia R. Johnson. “Through our hands on activities students will get an opportunity to develop skills that can help them achieve academic success during the academic year such as scientific literacy, oral presentation and computational skills. This program will also include exploration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) careers.”

The program cost is $500 per week, with a 10% discount for pre-paid registration (registration paid before July 5) or multiple child enrollment. Program participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch, however the parents can purchase lunch for an additional $30 per week.  After-program care is available from 3:00-5:30 pm for an additional $100 per week. In order to enroll your child in the program, you must submit the completed program application and the $250 non refundable application fee no later than Friday, June 11, 2010.
